Join our team as a Shipping Clerk in the vibrant city of Denver, Colorado! In this vital role, you will be responsible for coordinating and processing all outbound shipments, ensuring that orders are accurately prepared, documented, and dispatched on time. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be key to maintaining the smooth flow of goods from our distribution center to our valued customers. This position is integral to our overall Logistics operations and requires a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading and packing slips.
- Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
- Ensure all shipments are properly labeled and packaged for transit.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and inventory logs.
- Communicate with other departments to resolve shipping discrepancies.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Assist with Loading and unloading shipments when necessary, involving some Lifting.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a shipping or logistics role is preferred.
- Proficiency in using shipping software and order management systems.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of Safety protocols within a warehouse setting.
- Must be able to perform moderate Lifting tasks as required.
