Join our team as a Picker/Packer at our Charlotte, North Carolina facility and become a vital part of our logistics chain! This role is critical for ensuring the timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders. You will be responsible for accurately picking items from warehouse locations and carefully packing them for shipment. We prioritize a safe working environment, and adherence to all Safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is essential. This position involves active work and requires the ability to handle repeated Lifting. Responsibilities:
- Retrieve correct items from warehouse shelves according to pick lists.
- Pack items securely using appropriate packaging materials.
- Verify order accuracy before finalizing packing.
- Use RF scanners to track inventory movements accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety protocols.
- Wear all required PPE, such as safety glasses and gloves.
- Assist with other warehouse duties to support overall logistics operations.
- Meet established quotas for picking and packing efficiency.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or packing role is preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks involving regular Lifting of items up to 30 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to stand and move for entire shift.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety regulations.
- Willingness to wear and utilize required PPE.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with basic logistics processes is a plus.
