Our growing logistics hub in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, is seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team. In this essential role, you will be responsible for the efficient movement and organization of materials within our distribution center. Your duties will include operating forklifts and other powered industrial trucks, loading and unloading trailers, and transporting materials to and from various warehouse locations. A strong understanding of warehouse operations and material handling equipment is required. You must possess a valid forklift certification or be willing to obtain one. The ability to Lifting heavy objects (up to 75 pounds) is necessary. Maintaining a secure and organized workspace, and adhering to strict Safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE , are paramount. Primary duties include:
- Operating forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Loading and unloading trucks and trailers.
- Transporting materials within the warehouse.
- Storing materials in designated locations.
- Conducting pre-operational checks on equipment.
- Maintaining a clean and orderly work area.
- Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures.
- Assisting with inventory counts as needed.
- Using required PPE at all times.
