We are hiring experienced Forklift Operators for our busy distribution center in Miami, Florida! As a Forklift Operator, you will be instrumental in the efficient movement of goods within our warehouse. Your primary responsibilities will include operating forklifts to load and unload trucks, transport materials, and organize inventory. Safety is our top priority, and all operators must demonstrate a commitment to safe work practices and adhere to all regulations. This role requires skill, precision, and a strong understanding of warehouse logistics.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, stack, and retrieve inventory.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and shipping containers.
- Transport goods to and from various warehouse locations.
- Perform daily pre-operation checks on forklift equipment.
- Ensure accurate inventory placement and maintain organized storage areas.
- Assist with cycle counts and other inventory-related tasks.
- Maintain a clean and tidy work environment.
- Strictly follow all Safety procedures and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
- Support the overall flow of logistics and warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift certification and a minimum of (X) years of operating experience.
- Demonstrated ability to perform tasks involving moderate to heavy Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Experience in a logistics or distribution setting is beneficial.
- A strong commitment to Safety.
