You will play a vital role in maintaining optimal stock levels, preventing stockouts, and minimizing obsolescence. Your keen eye for detail and analytical capabilities will be instrumental in identifying areas for improvement within our inventory processes. Familiarity with inventory management software and strong organizational skills are essential. - Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and reconcile discrepancies between system records and physical counts.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate reorder needs to management.
- Ensure proper organization and storage of inventory to prevent damage or loss.
- Track the movement of goods throughout the warehouse and update inventory records accordingly.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and recommend improvements.
- Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with receiving, shipping, and sales departments to ensure accurate inventory flow.
- Operate material handling equipment safely, utilizing proper PPE.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, focusing on safety protocols.
- Support other logistics and warehouse functions as needed.
