As a Material Handler, you will be instrumental in the smooth operation of our warehouse, managing the flow of goods from receiving to dispatch. Your duties will include loading and unloading shipments, organizing inventory, preparing orders for transport, and ensuring the overall efficiency and safety of the warehouse floor. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments.
- Store and organize materials within the warehouse.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for outgoing delivery.
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts - training available).
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse space.
- Participate in inventory control activities and cycle counts.
- Strictly follow all safety guidelines and utilize required PPE.
- Assist with loading and unloading of trucks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform consistent physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and regulations.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with logistics operations is a plus.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
