We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our team at our Omaha, Nebraska fulfillment center. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently picking products to fulfill customer orders. Your ability to work quickly while maintaining precision is key to our operational success. You will utilize various scanning devices and pick lists to locate items within our warehouse, ensuring that the correct products and quantities are selected. This position is fundamental to our logistics operations, directly impacting customer satisfaction. We emphasize a safe working environment, requiring all employees to strictly follow safety regulations and wear designated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The role involves significant walking, standing, and the potential for frequent lifting, so a good level of physical stamina is necessary. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets and RF scanner.
- Ensure the correct quantity and type of product is picked for each order.
- Stage picked orders in the designated packing or shipping areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or product damages to a supervisor.
- Meet daily picking quotas and performance targets.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed, which may involve lifting.
- Contribute to the efficient flow of logistics within the facility.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is beneficial.
- Ability to read pick lists and follow instructions accurately.
- Proficiency with RF scanning equipment is a plus.
- Good physical condition with the ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Willingness and ability to perform lifting duties, up to 40 lbs.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to PPE guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Team player with good communication skills.
