We are seeking experienced Reach Truck Operators to join our dynamic logistics team in Miami, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a reach truck to move, stack, and retrieve inventory in our high-volume warehouse. Precision, efficiency, and an unwavering commitment to safety are paramount. You will ensure that products are stored correctly, efficiently, and safely within the racking system. A thorough understanding of reach truck operation, warehouse layout, and safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE, is essential. This position requires excellent hand-eye coordination, spatial reasoning, and the ability to perform tasks with a high degree of accuracy. While operating the reach truck is the primary function, there may be instances where lifting up to 50 lbs is required, along with other general warehouse duties. Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck safely and efficiently to move, stack, and retrieve inventory.
- Position products accurately within the warehouse racking system.
- Conduct daily inspections of the reach truck and report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory placement and assist with cycle counts.
- Follow all safety regulations and protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Ensure all operations comply with warehouse safety standards.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, which may include lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and efficiency.
- Report any safety hazards or operational concerns immediately.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating a reach truck.
- Valid reach truck certification or equivalent experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Excellent spatial awareness and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with logistics and inventory management principles.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
