We are hiring experienced Reach Truck Operators for our modern logistics facility in Phoenix, Arizona! If you possess expertise in operating reach trucks and are dedicated to ensuring safe and efficient material handling, we want to hear from you. This role is critical to our warehouse operations, involving the movement and organization of inventory at various heights. Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a reach truck to move, stack, and retrieve inventory at elevated heights.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and racking systems with precision and care.
- Transport goods to and from designated storage areas, production lines, or shipping docks.
- Perform daily pre-operation checks on the reach truck and report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by ensuring all movements are logged correctly in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Organize and maintain warehouse racking and storage areas, ensuring product stability and accessibility.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Wear and properly use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, gloves, high-visibility vests, and steel-toed boots at all times.
- Follow all lifting and material handling guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries within the logistics environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve operational goals and maintain workflow efficiency.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the logistics team.
Qualifications:
- Valid certification and proven experience operating a reach truck are mandatory.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center, specifically operating reach trucks, is required.
- Solid understanding of warehouse operations, safety protocols, and inventory management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Physical ability to perform tasks as needed, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and the consistent use of PPE.
