Full Job Description:

The primary responsibility of a Server is to provide exceptional dining experiences for guests. As the face of the restaurant, you will engage directly with customers to take orders, offer menu recommendations, and ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages. A friendly, professional demeanor, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask are key to contributing to the success of the establishment.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
• Assist in seating guests and providing menus.
• Ensure guests are comfortably settled, offering water, drinks, bread, etc.
• Communicate any specials or promotions available.
• Explain menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to guests, including inquiries about food allergies.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests and input them into the system.
• Make personalized recommendations based on guest preferences and dietary restrictions.
• Address any questions regarding the menu, including dietary restrictions or special requests.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared and delivered on time and together.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently, ensuring accuracy and presentation. Ensure all guests at the table are served within a reasonable timeframe.
• Check on guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and respond to requests or concerns.
• Refill drinks, clear plates, and reset tables to maintain a clean and organized dining area.
• Provide attentive, personalized service by anticipating guests' needs.
• Professionally handle guest complaints or concerns and escalate issues to management when necessary.
• Collaborate with other servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and excellent service.
