Welder – Construction Welding Division

Overview:
Insight Construction is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. This role is essential to the structural integrity and success of our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in various welding techniques and a strong understanding of blueprint interpretation and safety standards.

Construction Welders are skilled professionals responsible for welding and fabricating metal components used in various construction projects. They play a crucial role in joining metal parts, structures, and equipment to create durable and functional assemblies essential for construction activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Blueprint Interpretation:
  Read and interpret construction drawings and welding specifications to determine materials, techniques, and welding processes.
• Welding Execution:
  Perform MIG, TIG, arc, and oxy-acetylene welding to join metal components with precision and strength.
• Structural Assembly:
  Weld beams, columns, trusses, and other structural elements to form building frameworks and infrastructure.
• Equipment Maintenance:
  Inspect and maintain welding tools and machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Quality Control:
  Conduct visual and non-destructive testing of welds to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; welding certification preferred (AWS, ASME).
• Proven experience in construction welding.
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
