Duties

  • Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and early childhood education principles.
  • Create a nurturing classroom atmosphere that promotes positive behavior management and supports children's emotional and social development.
  • Utilize classroom management techniques to maintain an organized, safe, and inclusive environment conducive to learning.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate children with special education needs or those requiring early intervention services.
  • Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor progress and tailor instruction accordingly.
  • Engage in ongoing communication with parents and guardians to discuss student progress, behavior, and developmental milestones.
  • Maintain detailed records of classroom activities, student achievements, and behavioral incidents to support individualized learning plans.

Skills

  • Proven experience with children in educational or childcare settings, including preschool or daycare environments.
  • Strong knowledge of childhood development theories and practices, including Montessori methods and early intervention strategies.
  • Expertise in curriculum development across multiple subjects such as literacy education, math, physical education, and child welfare.
  • Excellent classroom management skills to foster a positive learning environment while effectively handling behavioral challenges.
  • Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate innovative teaching techniques and educational technology tools.
  • Experience working with diverse student populations, including those with special needs or requiring additional support.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $25.24 per hour

Expected hours: 80 per week
