Who We Are

At the Spanish Fork location, we are running a dual concept of Waffle Love and the classic Little Acorn drive in. It will be a unique, fast paced location focusing on speed and quality food.

Waffle Love started in 2012 at a farmers market in Provo, soon growing from just a food truck company to incorporating brick and mortar restaurants in several different states. We have 6 restaurants in Utah. Our restaurants are fast casual eateries with gourmet liege waffles cooked to order, as well as savory options with croissant waffles, bacon, eggs, fried chicken, etc. We strive to have a cheerful, family-like work atmosphere while also working efficiently, meeting sales goals, and incorporating amazing customer service.

What You'd Be Doing

Waffle Love/Little Acorn is looking for a hardworking, customer-focused individual to be the STORE MANAGER or ASSISTANT MANAGER at our Waffle Love/Little Acorn - Spanish Fork location, under the direction of the AREA MANAGER.

We'll have you work closely every day with your designated Area Manager who will provide paid training as you learn our processes for cooking, prepping, & serving waffle, burger and side dishes perfectly, as well as learning how to manage the restaurant as a whole. You'll be trained on how to schedule our awesome staff. We'll be looking for those who can be or are willing to learn how to be fast and efficient and multitask.

We are looking for someone who's available weekdays & weekends and who would be to work 40 hours per week.

Pay Schedule

Starting pay for the manager position is $16/hr, and can receive tips & a monthly bonus if monthly metrics and goals are met.

Basic Duties

• Manage the operation of a single store, including interviewing, hiring, and training new crew members
• Maintain a clean & organized store suitable for passing all inspections
• Will be responsible for employee scheduling
• Manage inventory needs for your individual location
• Must have weekday morning availability
• Work weekends as needed
• Lead the restaurant by example with adherence to cleanliness & safety procedures, standards of Waffle Love/Little Acorn attitude, and quality food making skills
• Must be able to work 30+ hours of in-store shifts + 1 office shift per week (totaling 40+ hours a week)
• Must have a great attitude and cultivate a great atmosphere for customers and staff
• Must be able to lead & coach a team
• Experience in the kitchen is definitely recommended but we'd also be open to considering those who are willing to learn.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Food Handlers Card and/or Serve Safe Certification
• Management experience (1 year+)
• Food/kitchen/restaurant experience a plus
• General understanding of computers & math (cash handling, profit & loss figures, analyzing costs, scheduling staff)
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Must have leadership skills, the ability to unite your crew together, and a strong sense of honesty & integrity
