About the Role

We are seeking a
Project Controls Advisor I
to support mid- to large-scale capital projects. This role is ideal for a
mid-level Project Controls professional
with strong cost control, forecasting, and scheduling experience who can confidently support project teams and interact with leadership.

This is an
individual contributor role
with opportunities to mentor junior team members and provide advisory support across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide
    Project Controls, Planning, and Scheduling expertise
    to capital projects
  • Support projects through
    stage gates, checkpoints, and reviews
  • Develop and review
    project schedules
    , including validation of operator-prepared schedules
  • Perform
    schedule and progress assessments
  • Support
    cost control, forecasting, budgeting, and change management
  • Participate in
    PEBRAs, schedule workshops, IPRs, and Cold Eyes Reviews
  • Prepare and present
    cost and schedule insights
    to project leadership
  • Assist with
    progress measurement, reporting, and variance analysis
  • Mentor junior Project Controls team members as needed
  • Support continuous improvement of
    Project Controls tools, processes, and best practices

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management
  • 3–5 years of Project Controls experience
  • Experience supporting
    mid-size to large capital projects ($250M–$1B)

Strong knowledge of:

  • Cost control and forecasting
  • Planning and scheduling
  • Change management
  • Primavera P6
    experience required
  • SAP
    familiarity preferred
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively across
    multi-disciplinary teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in
    Oil & Gas, Energy, or EPC environments
  • Previous mentoring or supervisory experience
  • Willingness to travel to project sites (domestic or international)
