Join Fidelity Investments as a Principal Trading Engineer, focusing on high-performance Java development for crypto trading systems. This is a hands-on role where you'll contribute to business-critical initiatives and build secure, scalable, resilient cloud-based services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement technology solutions for the Fidelity Digital Assets business.

• Develop high-performance algorithms for trading/crypto trading.

• Write code for product features in a hands-on capacity.

• Set technical direction for software developers with other tech leads and architecture.

• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders/large cross-functional teams.

What You'll Need:

• 10+ years of trading engineering experience.

• Strong background in designing low-latency trading systems.

• Extensive experience with modern Java using zero GC pattern.

• Hands-on experience with low-latency messaging products like Aeron, Solace, or 29West.

• Proficient in SQL and working knowledge of relational and time series databases.

• An understanding of microservice architecture and cloud-based deployments.
