Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Foreman to lead grading and fill operations and oversee the installation of all underground utilities. This role is critical to ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

 Ability to efficiently operate various types of heavy equipment

 Supervise and coordinate heavy equipment operators and labor crews on site

 Direct grading, fill, and compaction operations to meet project specifications

 Oversee installation of underground utilities (water, sewer, storm drainage, electrical

conduits)

 Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company

policies

 Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications

 Knowledge and experience using GPS

 Monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and maintain project schedules

 Train and mentor crew members to promote skill development and teamwork

 Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and inspectors

Qualifications

 Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy equipment operations and utility installation

 Proven leadership experience as a foreman or supervisor in construction

 Strong knowledge of grading, excavation, and underground utility practices

 Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and specifications

 Excellent communication and organizational skills

 Commitment to safety and quality standards

 CDL or equipment certifications preferred

Pay: $ $32.22 per hour
