Sr. Cook

Join our growing TEAM We are searching for an experienced Sr. Cook for a medical facility located in Tyler, TX

Shift: 5am-2pm/10am-630 Schedule: Monday - Friday + rotating weekends

Rate of pay: $15-$16 DOE

Position Details:

• Prepare, cook, and plate meals for patients, staff, and special events, following specific recipes and portion guidelines.
• Follow all sanitation and food safety protocols, including temperature control, proper storage, and maintaining a clean work area.
• Monitor and order food supplies, and track inventory to ensure freshness and availability.
• Assist in other areas/ or duties as assigned.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a healthcare setting is required.
• Proficient in cooking and food prep techniques.
• Strong understanding od food safety, sanitation, and nutrition.
• Ability to read and follow recipes and dietary instructions accurately.
• Knowledge of operation of kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to pass a nationwide background check and a drug screening test.
