Strata Legal Talent is partnering with a highly respected boutique firm to recruit a Litigation Associate focused on media, entertainment, intellectual property, and complex commercial disputes. The firm handles a broad range of complex litigation matters, including copyright, trademark, trade secrets, defamation, FOIA/access issues, reporter's privilege, and contract disputes. Their attorneys appear frequently in both federal and state courts and are known for strategic thinking, high-quality written work, and thoughtful, aggressive advocacy.

What You'll Do

As a Litigation Associate, you will be hands-on from day one. Responsibilities include:

• Providing litigation-avoidance counseling and helping shape pre-litigation strategy
• Drafting pre-litigation correspondence, motions, briefs, and discovery
• Representing clients in federal and state courts
• Supporting and participating in bench and jury trials
• Handling appellate work, including briefing and strategy
• Collaborating with subject-matter experts and jury consultants
• Participating in ADR proceedings
• Working on matters before agencies and industry bodies (e.g., TTAB, NAD)

You'll take real ownership on matters, independently manage key aspects of cases, and directly impact litigation strategy.

We're seeking a true all-star associate — someone sharp, proactive, and eager to jump in with both feet.

Requirements:

• Admission to the New York Bar (required)
• 2+ years of litigation experience (media, entertainment, IP, or commercial litigation preferred but not mandatory)
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to take responsibility quickly and thrive with autonomy
• Excellent judgment and communication skills
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Pay: $140, $170,000.00 per year
