Direct Support Professional

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality support to individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring their well-being and enhancing their quality of life. The ideal candidate will have experience in caregiving, patient care, and a strong commitment to helping others achieve their personal goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient observation and monitoring to ensure safety and health.
• Support residents in Client Home
• Implement care plans tailored to individual needs while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Assistance with social Activities, such as shopping, attending social event
• Assistance with House keeping, Laundry, Home Making
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the living environment, including cooking and meal preparation.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to provide comprehensive care.

Experience

• Previous experience working with people with developmental disabilities or Elderly
• Background in home health, hospice care, or long-term care settings preferred.
• Familiarity with patient monitoring techniques, vital signs assessment, and first aid/CPR certification is a plus.
• Experience in social work or related fields will be considered an asset.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
