Blue Ridge Yoga is seeking a highly organized, people-loving Studio & Community Coordinator to support daily operations, guide our front desk team, maintain exceptional client experience, and uplift our studio community through events and engagement.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys both people-facing and administrative work, and loves creating systems that keep a busy studio running smoothly.

About the Role

As the Studio & Community Coordinator, you are the heartbeat of our front desk and community experience. You'll help manage daily studio flow, support and train community coordinators, ensure front desk coverage, and maintain consistent communication and organization throughout the studio.

Your work directly impacts our students, instructors, and entire team, making this a deeply meaningful role for the right person.

What You'll DoFront Desk Operations & Client Experience

  • Create a warm, welcoming environment for every student.

  • Check students in, answer questions, and guide them through class types, pricing, and memberships.

  • Support sales conversions for intro offers, memberships, annual plans, and class packs.

  • Maintain daily front desk organization, cleanliness, and readiness.

  • Handle incident documentation and daily closing/opening recaps.

Community Coordinator Oversight & Training

  • Build, manage, and publish the weekly front desk schedule.

  • Train new community coordinators and provide ongoing education and feedback.

  • Hold weekly 1:1 meetings and quarterly reviews with Community Coordinators.

  • Address and resolve staff issues or performance gaps with professionalism and clarity.

  • Maintain all SOPs related to front desk, membership processes, scanning agreements, substitute procedures, and more.

  • Ensure the front desk operates independently; your success is that no higher-level oversight is needed.

Studio Administration

  • Scan and send membership agreements to Client Retention Specialists; organize digital files.

  • Update class recordings schedule and ensure instructors record as needed.

  • Assist with substitute teacher coordination and communication.

  • Organize staff schedules, meetings, and internal communication.

  • Maintain essential Google Sheets for inventory, training, events, and reporting.

Inventory & Supplies Management

  • Track and reorder monthly studio supplies (front desk, props, office, etc.).

  • Maintain T-shirt inventory, track distribution (new students, annuals, staff), and prepare quarterly orders.

  • Utilize Google Sheets for other studio supplies such as shirts, blocks, candles, cleaning supplies, etc.

Community Engagement & Events

  • Plan, set up, and manage monthly and seasonal studio events.

  • Coordinate with local partners and nonprofits to support collaborations and donations.

  • Capture photos and short clips of instructors + student testimonials for marketing use.

  • Support the creation of fun, engaging content for our community (quotes, posts, highlight forms).

What Success Looks Like

  • Scheduling runs seamlessly without management needing to intervene.

  • Community Coordinators feel trained, supported, and independent.

  • Instructor and staff issues are handled proactively.

  • Front desk operations run smoothly, consistently, and confidently.

  • Events, workshops, and community engagement feel organized and well-loved.

  • The studio environment feels peaceful, connected, and high-touch for students.

What We're Looking For

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail

  • Ability to multitask in a busy, interruption-heavy environment

  • Comfortable with sales

  • Tech-friendly: Google Workspace, Homebase, Slack, Canva, Walla

  • Event planning or customer service experience is a plus

  • Yoga or boutique fitness studio experience helpful but not required

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday: 8 AM–1 PM (required front desk)

  • Additional 10–15 hours/week for admin work, scheduling, staff support, community events, and content collection

  • Some hours can be remote (admin/organizational tasks)
