Role Summary:

The Operations Manager plays a key role in ensuring company operations run smoothly from supplier to shelf — balancing speed, cost, and accuracy as we scale. This person owns the end-to-end flow of products across procurement, logistics, and fulfillment, overseeing purchasing, inbound and outbound shipments, inventory control, and coordination between suppliers, warehouses, and sales.

They will work closely with the Supply Chain Manager to translate forecasts into purchase and replenishment actions while continuously improving processes, data accuracy, and cross-functional alignment. This role requires exceptional organization, communication, and analytical skills to keep the supply chain efficient and scalable.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement & Supply Chain Execution

  • Translate demand plans into purchase orders, stock transfers, and 3PL replenishments.
  • Coordinate with domestic and international suppliers to confirm pricing, lead times, production status, and shipment schedules.
  • Track open POs and ensure timely production, shipping, and receipt into warehouses.

Logistics & Fulfillment

  • Book and manage international and domestic freight (air, ocean, LTL, FTL, and parcel).
  • Track shipments and communicate expected arrivals and delays.
  • Oversee customs, import documentation, and freight forwarder coordination.
  • Monitor freight costs and carrier performance, escalating issues as needed.
  • Coordinate logistics with 3PLs and warehouses to ensure accurate and timely shipping.
  • Negotiate and manage freight rates and service performance across carriers and forwarders to optimize cost and reliability.

Replenishments & E-Commerce Fulfillment

  • Create and manage weekly inventory replenishments to Amazon FBA, Walmart, TikTok, etc.
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure retail and e-commerce orders are shipped accurately and on time.
  • Troubleshoot order flow issues in (or similar ERP) and coordinate resolutions with internal teams.

Reporting & Systems

  • Gather and analyze sales, logistics, and fulfillment data to provide actionable insights.
  • Maintain accurate shipment data in ERP systems.
  • Provide weekly OTIF and freight cost reporting.
  • Develop and refine SOPs for logistics, replenishment, and order processing.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements in order flow and inventory movement.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of CPG experience in operations, supply chain, or logistics management.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a data-driven mindset.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Experience coordinating with 3PLs, carriers, and suppliers.
  • Strong proficiency in ERP systems preferred) and project management software (ClickUp preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and Google Workspace.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: proactive, resourceful, and driven to improve systems and outcomes.
