Job Overview

We're offering a $3,500 sign-on bonus for full time employees

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. The Nursing Assistant will assist with daily living activities, monitor patient health, and ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all patients.

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating
  • Monitor vital signs and report any changes in patient conditions to nursing staff
  • Provide support in mobility and transportation of patients using equipment such as Hoyer lifts
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
  • Assist with medical procedures under the supervision of nursing staff
  • Ensure cleanliness and safety of patient areas, adhering to aseptic techniques
  • Engage with patients to provide emotional support and companionship
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Experience
Candidates should possess experience or knowledge in the following areas:

  • Epic, Cerner, or other EMR/EHR systems
  • Critical care experience including ICU or PICU settings
  • Long-term care experience in nursing homes or assisted living facilities
  • Hospital experience in acute care or emergency medicine environments
  • Working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia care
  • Phlebotomy skills and basic life support certification preferred
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and physiology knowledge
