Job Title: Automation Architect (Appium | Selenium | Python)

Location: Dallas, TX (Onsite required)

Duration: 2+ Months Contract

Role Overview

We are seeking an Automation Architect with deep expertise in
Appium, Selenium, and Python
to lead test automation strategy and framework design for large-scale enterprise applications. This role will be responsible for defining automation standards, evaluating tools, and enabling continuous quality within an Agile development environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement end-to-end test automation frameworks for mobile and web platforms
• Strong hands-on automation for:
• Mobile App Testing using Appium (iOS & Android)
• Web UI Testing using Selenium WebDriver
• API Testing using Python automation libraries
• Create scalable, reusable, and maintainable automation scripts aligned with CI/CD practices
• Establish automation standards, best practices, and code reviews within the QA organization
• Partner with Development, DevOps, and Product teams for seamless SDLC integration
• Evaluate new technologies and tools to enhance automation efficiency and coverage
• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentoring to automation engineers
• Drive root cause analysis to improve product reliability and reduce regression cycles

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years in QA Automation with minimum 5 years in an Architect role
• Expert level hands-on experience in:
• Appium for mobile UI automation
• Selenium WebDriver for web automation
• Python for automation scripting and framework development (PyTest/Robot Framework preferred)

Strong experience with:

• CI/CD systems (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, etc.)
• Test execution platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, etc.)
• Version control (Git)
• BDD/TDD frameworks (Cucumber/Behave preferred)
• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile delivery models
• Strong communication and leadership skills to influence QA roadmap and quality engineering mindset

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Microservices or cloud testing experience (AWS/Azure)
• Containerization with Docker/Kubernetes
• Performance testing exposure (JMeter/Gatling)
• ISTQB or relevant test automation certifications
