Quick Service Restaurant Server

Duties

• Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including kitchen equipment and dining areas
• Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures
• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a tidy dining environment
• Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the quality and safety of all food products
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours

Requirements

• Previous experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant preferred
• Basic culinary skills with knowledge of food preparation techniques
• Familiarity with POS systems (Toast POS, Square POS) is a plus
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Experience in the food industry or retail setting is beneficial
