The Plastic Flamingo is located right off ISB and has been established since 2020 as the only all-female beauty & tattoo parlor in Daytona Beach, FL We are a 15 suite salon offering permanent makeup, tattooing, lashes, waxing, facials and other beauty services. We cater to the feminine aesthetic. Our salon is a place that every woman can feel comfortable in while getting that unique piece of art, beauty treatment, or piercing.

Duties & Requirements

• Weekends required, must be flexible.
• Ability to work log hours for events/conventions.
• Independent and positive, goal oriented individual.
• Assist in managing studio operations, ensuring all clients are attended to and booked in properly.
• Answer phone calls, social media DMs, emails, and text messages in a timely manner.
• Support service providers by maintaining a well-maintained and clean environment according to state health regulations at all times.
• Engage with clients, providing excellent in-person or virtual customer service and addressing inquiries regarding services offered.
• Help maintain inventory levels of supplies and assist with restocking when necessary.
• Utilize communication skills to effectively relay information between clients and artists.
• Assist service providers by taking quality images and videos of their work for all social media platforms.
• Apply knowledge of various tattoo styles, service counterindication, and state regulations when booking clients, and notify service providers of any concerns with the forms/counterindication.
• Participate in sales initiatives by promoting studio services and products to customers in-person or through social media.
• Maintain accurate records of client appointment forms, tattoo acknowledgment forms, etc. and assist with scheduling/checkouts.

Skills

• Proficiency or general knowledge in tattooing techniques/styles is mandatory.
• Proficient interpersonal skills and ability to independently reach out to clients/vendors as needed.
• Experience in fast-paced store management or similar roles is encouraged.
• Strong understanding of sanitation practices within a tattoo/piercing studio environment, general cleanliness, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to foster positive interactions with clients and team members when booking and scheduling.
• Exceptional customer service skills, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all clients.
• Experience balancing a register, handling cash drops, and using a POS.
• Independent, goal oriented, team player.
• Ability to produce & recognize quality content and correctly upload to corresponding social media platforms.

Pay rate is $15/hour

Part time 24-32 hours/week
