Role Description

This full-time, on-site role is located in Virginia Beach, VA. As the Senior Civil Engineering / Civil Division Leader, your responsibilities will include overseeing and managing civil engineering projects, leading design initiatives, and ensuring quality and compliance with all project deliverables. You will provide leadership to the division, manage client relationships, and coordinate with teams to ensure deadlines are met. Additional responsibilities involve water resource management, project planning, and guiding junior engineers to achieve organizational goals.

Qualifications

• 8-10 yrs Expertise in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design, including understanding of industry standards, regulations, and best practices
• Strong skills in Water Resource Management, including stormwater design, drainage systems, and sustainable solutions
• Proven Project Management experience with the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and project teams
• Exceptional Communication skills for client collaboration, team coordination, and reporting
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Virginia (or obtainable through reciprocity)
• Proficiency in relevant design and engineering software (AutoCAD Civil 3D and PCSWMM or similar stormwater modeling software)
• Prior experience in leadership roles with the ability to mentor junior staff
