Position Summary

The Infrastructure Support Specialist supports daily business operations and plays a critical role in maintaining our core IT systems. This includes Tier 1 and Tier 2 end-user support as well as administration of Microsoft 365, endpoint management, networking, cloud services, and patching. The role requires attention to detail, accountability, and a strong desire to improve stability and uptime.

Who YOU Are and WHAT You will be Doing

You are:

  • Someone who can apply their knowledge and experience to troubleshoot and problem solve with a sense of urgency and accuracy

You will be:

  • Living our Mission, Vision, Values through collaboration cross-functionally, within the team, and with any outside contacts
  • Serve as a primary contact for technical support
  • Diagnose hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
  • Log and track all requests through ManageEngine Service Desk Plus
  • Provide training to improve technical skills and productivity
  • Deliver excellent support to onsite and remote employees
  • Administer Microsoft 365 and Azure AD including user accounts, security groups, MFA, mail routing, and Teams
  • Manage devices using Intune and other Mobile Device Management tools
  • Support Windows-based servers in Azure and assist with basic AWS administration if needed
  • Apply patch management policies to keep systems updated and secure
  • Support endpoint protection, identity management, and conditional access policies
  • Maintain workstation imaging, asset inventory, and equipment lifecycle
  • Assist with switches, wireless access points, routing, DNS, and DHCP
  • Support VPN access and troubleshooting
  • Document configurations and standard procedures
  • Monitor and report recurring problems to prevent future issues
  • Support endpoint protection tools and vulnerability remediation
  • Follow standard procedures for onboarding, offboarding, and access changes
  • Maintain documentation for common problems, processes, and system configuration
  • Reporting significant and recurring issues to the VP of Tech Ops & Systems
  • Maintaining a high level of service and professionalism in all interactions
  • Additional support assignments as deemed by the VP of Tech Ops & Systems

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic to intermediate technical issues
  • Familiarity with help desk software and remote troubleshooting tools
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office365, particularly Excel and Teams
  • Solid troubleshooting and problem solving abilities
  • Strong Microsoft 365 user and admin knowledge
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts
  • Experience using ticketing platforms and remote support tools
  • Ability to maintain focus and deliver results in a growing environment

Education/Experience:

  • Degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent practical experience
  • 2 or more years in IT support or a similar technical role preferred
  • Experience with ManageEngine Support Desk is preferred
  • CompTIA Network Plus or Microsoft certifications preferred, or working toward them
