CDL Class A Company Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Company Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various types of truck driving, including but not limited to refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers. This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. A strong commitment to safety and customer service is essential.

Duties

• Operate a variety of trucks, including tractor-trailers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and flatbeds.
• Load and unload freight as required, ensuring proper handling of goods.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Navigate routes effectively for timely deliveries while maintaining accurate logs of hours driven and mileage.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding any issues or delays encountered on the road.
• Adhere to all federal and state regulations regarding commercial driving.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the truck.

Experience

• Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
• Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
• Experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or other specialized equipment is a plus.
• Previous delivery driver experience is advantageous.
• Ability to operate forklifts for loading and unloading purposes is beneficial.
