We are actively recruiting for a versatile Warehouse Associate to join our team in Kansas City, Missouri. This role encompasses a variety of tasks essential to the smooth operation of our warehouse, including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping. Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against packing slips, and inspect for damage.
- Stock shelves and storage areas with received goods, ensuring proper placement and organization.
- Accurately pick items from inventory based on customer orders.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment, applying labels and documentation.
- Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including proper Lifting techniques and the correct use of PPE.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks as needed.
- Support the logistics team in achieving daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is preferred but not required for motivated individuals.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and item labels.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks involving manual dexterity.
- Capability to perform frequent Lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and procedures.
- Basic understanding of Logistics operations.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
