We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our busy warehouse in Baltimore, Maryland. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe movement of materials throughout our facility. Your tasks will include receiving, stocking, and preparing items for shipment, playing a key part in our overall logistics process. If you are a motivated individual with a strong commitment to Safety and teamwork, this is an excellent opportunity for you. We are looking for someone who can handle physical tasks and contribute to a productive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate pallet jacks and hand trucks to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Receive and stock incoming inventory in designated locations.
- Assist in cycle counting and inventory verification.
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Adhere to all company Safety protocols and procedures.
- Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
- Identify and report any damaged materials or equipment issues.
- Support the logistics team in achieving daily operational targets.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a Material Handler or in a warehouse setting is beneficial.
- Ability to perform regular Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics flow.
- Commitment to Safety and workplace best practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
