We are looking for a dedicated Picker/Packer to join our bustling warehouse in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from shelves and packaging them securely for shipment. This is a critical function in our logistics chain, ensuring our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order lists or scanner guidance.
- Inspect picked items for damage and ensure correct quantities.
- Package items securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages correctly for shipment, including addresses and tracking information.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move inventory.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Adhere to all Safety guidelines and company procedures.
- Proper use and maintenance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory counts and restocking as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting, up to 30 lbs.
- Understanding of order fulfillment and basic logistics processes.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Commitment to Safety and a hazard-free workplace.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- High school diploma or equivalent is beneficial.
