We are seeking a versatile Distribution Center Associate for our Atlanta, Georgia location. This role is fundamental to the efficient operation of our warehouse and logistics network. You will be involved in various aspects of warehouse management, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping. Our commitment to Safety is unwavering; therefore, all employees must adhere to strict safety standards and consistently use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This dynamic position requires physical stamina and the capacity for significant Lifting and movement throughout the facility. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming inventory, verifying quantities and quality.
- Stock received goods in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick items accurately for customer orders using pick lists or scanning devices.
- Pack orders efficiently and securely for shipment.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, including labeling and documentation.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (certification may be required).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Properly use all mandated PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks involving consistent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance goals.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety practices and procedures.
- Willingness to wear and utilize required PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with various aspects of logistics operations.
- Must be able to work flexible hours and occasional overtime.
