We are hiring enthusiastic Fulfillment Associates to join our expanding operations in Washington, D.C.! In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment, ensuring timely and correct delivery. Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick products from inventory using RF scanners or pick sheets according to customer orders.
  • Pack items securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate shipping materials to ensure safe transit.
  • Verify order details, including item quantity and shipping address, before finalizing shipments.
  • Stage prepared orders for carrier pickup, maintaining an organized workflow.
  • Receive incoming shipments, inspect goods for damage or discrepancies, and accurately record inventory.
  • Organize and maintain stock within the warehouse, adhering to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles where applicable.
  • Operate manual warehouse equipment like pallet jacks and hand trucks safely and effectively.
  • Ensure the workspace is kept clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
  • Comply with all company safety policies, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety vests, gloves, and closed-toe shoes.
  • Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts to maintain stock accuracy within our logistics system.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve daily fulfillment goals and support overall warehouse operations.
  • Be prepared to assist with other tasks as assigned to support the logistics team's objectives.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment center, or logistics environment is highly preferred.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing for long hours, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
  • Demonstrated understanding and adherence to safety procedures and the correct use of PPE is essential.
