Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming stock and materials, ensuring accuracy against orders.
- Pick and pack orders for shipment, ensuring correct items and quantities are fulfilled.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring the safe handling of all products.
- Operate manual equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies to move goods efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, free from hazards.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety vests, gloves, and hard-soled shoes.
- Participate in regular inventory checks and stock counts to ensure data accuracy.
- Assist in shipping and receiving operations as needed.
- Support other warehouse functions and contribute to team goals in a dynamic logistics setting.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or general labor role is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and punctual attendance is crucial.
- Must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment and adhering to strict safety regulations.
- Willingness to learn new skills and operate different types of warehouse equipment as training is provided.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe workplace and proper use of PPE is essential for this logistics role.
