We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This role is crucial for the efficient operation of our logistics and distribution center. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping goods. Your diligence ensures that our products move smoothly through the supply chain and reach our customers on time. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments accurately.
- Inspect inventory for damage and ensure correct quantities.
- Stock shelves and organize inventory in designated areas.
- Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications and company standards.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, especially concerning safety and quality control.
- Adhere to all guidelines regarding the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to Safety in all work activities.
