We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our dynamic logistics team in Las Vegas, Nevada. As a Picker/Packer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient order fulfillment. Your primary responsibilities will involve accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets and meticulously packing them for shipment. This position requires a keen eye for detail to minimize errors and ensure customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols, and operating within established productivity standards. This role is essential to the smooth operation of our distribution center and contributes directly to our supply chain efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations.
- Verify product codes and quantities against order slips.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipping, utilizing appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages accurately and prepare them for dispatch.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure order accuracy and product condition.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and warehouse operations.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily shipping goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a picking/packing or warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order tickets and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, including safety vests and gloves.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety procedures.
