We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our dynamic logistics team in Tampa, Florida. As a Picker/Packer, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of customer orders. Your primary responsibilities will involve locating, picking, and packing various items according to order specifications. This role requires a keen eye for detail, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and a strong commitment to safety protocols. You will work closely with other warehouse staff to maintain inventory accuracy and contribute to the overall success of our distribution operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves using a handheld scanner or pick list.
- Carefully pack items into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring proper protection and presentation.
- Verify order accuracy before packing and shipping.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding order status and potential issues.
- Must be comfortable with lifting up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
