Are you an experienced Forklift Operator seeking a new challenge in Omaha, Nebraska? Join our dynamic logistics team where safety and efficiency are paramount. You will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack materials within our warehouse. This role requires a strong understanding of forklift operation, warehouse procedures, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. Proper use of PPE and adherence to all safety regulations are mandatory. You will work closely with other warehouse personnel to ensure timely processing of goods and accurate inventory management. This position involves significant physical demands, including lifting and extended periods of standing. Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operating various types of forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Loading and unloading trucks, ensuring proper placement and securement of loads.
- Transporting inventory between different areas of the warehouse.
- Assisting with inventory cycle counts and stock checks.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhering to all company safety policies and procedures, including the strict use of required PPE.
- Performing daily pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment.
- Collaborating effectively with warehouse supervisors and team members.
- Participating in all required safety training and meetings.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
