Job Summary:
We are looking for a diligent Receiving Clerk to join our team in Omaha, Nebraska! In this critical role, you will be the first point of contact for all incoming goods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our receiving process. Your responsibilities will include unloading shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, inspecting for damage, and properly documenting all received items. This position is fundamental to our inventory management and overall logistics operations. Responsibilities:
  • Unload incoming shipments accurately and efficiently.
  • Verify delivered items against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies.
  • Document all received items in the inventory system.
  • Tag and label received products as needed.
  • Communicate any receiving issues to supervisors or relevant departments.
  • Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Wear required PPE at all times.
  • Assist with put-away of received goods.
  • Contribute to the smooth flow of logistics within the facility.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in receiving or warehouse operations is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift items.
  • Knowledge of safe lifting practices.
  • Commitment to using PPE and following safety protocols.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry.
  • Good organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
