We are seeking dynamic Warehouse Associates for our Houston, Texas facility. This role is crucial for the smooth operation of our logistics and distribution network. You will be involved in various warehouse functions, including receiving, put-away, order picking, packing, and shipping. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Sort and stock merchandise in appropriate warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick items based on customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Pack orders securely for shipment, ensuring all items are protected.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and staging for carrier pickup.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
- Perform inventory cycle counts and assist with overall inventory management.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Follow all company safety regulations and wear designated PPE at all times.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet daily operational targets.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable. Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing physically demanding tasks throughout the shift. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus. Understanding of safety procedures, including proper use of PPE. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Experience in logistics is advantageous.
