We are looking for dedicated Order Pickers to join our growing logistics facility in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will be essential in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You will be responsible for accurately retrieving products from various locations within the warehouse, ensuring quality and correct quantities. This fast-paced environment demands efficiency, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations using pick lists or electronic devices.
- Verify item numbers, descriptions, and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks or order pickers to reach and transport items.
- Scan items using RF scanners to update inventory records in real-time.
- Transport picked items to designated packing or staging areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and warehouse environment.
- Comply with all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Meet performance expectations for picking speed and accuracy.
- Report any stock discrepancies or damaged items to a supervisor.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks, including stocking and replenishment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in order picking or a similar warehouse role is beneficial. Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods. Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs repeatedly. Strong organizational skills and a high level of accuracy. Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and the use of PPE. Knowledge of logistics operations is a plus. Must be reliable and punctual.
