We are hiring a certified Forklift Operator for our facility in Fort Worth, Texas. This role is essential for the efficient movement and storage of materials within our warehouse, playing a key part in our Logistics operations. You will be responsible for operating forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to load and unload materials, move items to and from storage areas, and assist with order fulfillment. A strong commitment to Safety, excellent forklift operation skills, and the ability to perform physical tasks are required. The ideal candidate is reliable, attentive to detail, and dedicated to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Strict adherence to all Safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. This position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced operators to contribute to a vital part of our supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Operating forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Loading and unloading materials from trucks and trailers safely and efficiently.
- Transporting materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Assisting with order picking and packing as needed.
- Conducting pre-operation inspections of forklifts and reporting any maintenance issues.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, ensuring clear pathways.
- Adhering strictly to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Participating in inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Following all Logistics procedures to ensure timely and accurate handling of goods.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of warehouse experience.
- Ability to perform moderate physical tasks and occasional heavy Lifting.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety principles and practices.
- Knowledge of Logistics operations and material handling procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret shipping documents.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and secure work environment.
