Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced and certified Forklift Operators to join our state-of-the-art distribution center in Boston, Massachusetts. This critical role ensures the smooth flow of goods throughout our logistics hub. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting merchandise. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our overall operational efficiency and inventory management. Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse.
  • Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper stacking and securing of goods.
  • Transport products from receiving to storage areas and from storage to shipping docks.
  • Perform daily pre-operation checks on forklifts and report any issues immediately.
  • Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
  • Maintain accurate records of material movement using WMS.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as steel-toed boots and safety glasses.
  • Follow proper lifting techniques and ensure loads are stable.
  • Operate other warehouse equipment as needed and trained.
  • Contribute to a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
  • Valid forklift operator certification or license.
  • Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and best practices in logistics.
  • Ability to read and understand shipping documents and labels.
  • Physical ability to perform duties that may involve climbing, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Prior experience in inventory control is a plus.
