We are hiring a dedicated Shipping Clerk to manage our outbound logistics operations in Washington, D.C. This role is instrumental in ensuring that all outgoing shipments are accurate, properly documented, and dispatched on time. The Shipping Clerk will be responsible for preparing shipping labels, verifying order details against shipping manifests, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining shipping records. You will also be responsible for the safe and efficient packing of various types of products, ensuring they are protected during transit. A keen eye for detail and organizational skills are essential for success in this position. You will be working closely with inventory and logistics teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment. Adherence to all safety regulations, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is a strict requirement. This role involves regular lifting of items up to 30 lbs. A solid understanding of shipping software and carrier procedures is beneficial.
