Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to transport, stack, and retrieve inventory.
- Load and unload goods from trucks and trailers efficiently and safely.
- Assist with inventory control, ensuring accurate placement and counts.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize logistics workflow.
- Prepare orders for shipment.
- Handle lifting of heavy items and palletized loads.
- Participate in ongoing safety training.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification and proven experience.
- In-depth knowledge of forklift safety procedures and warehouse operations.
- Ability to perform strenuous physical activities, including lifting and manual labor.
- Excellent spatial awareness and hand-eye coordination.
- Experience in logistics or a similar fast-paced environment is preferred.
- Must be able to use and wear all required PPE.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
