Business Development Manager (Software Sales) Full‑time position in a global market‑leading company that delivers proven software solutions to mid‑market and enterprise organisations.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary £35,000–£50,000, depending on experience
On‑target earnings (OTE) £70k–£100k, uncapped
Company car, mobile, laptop and additional benefits
Role Overview As a Business Development Manager you will play an integral part in the company’s expansion, working within a multicultural, energetic team to identify, develop and secure new client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Develop a comprehensive sales plan and strategy
Identify and pursue customer prospects across verticals such as public sector, financial services, utilities, FMCG and manufacturing
Build a strong referral base and maintain regular networking activities
Contact prospective customers and close profitable business deals
Qualifications & Experience
Background in a digital or software organisation within an entrepreneurial, fast‑paced environment (preferred)
Experience with tenders / bid management desirable; tender preparation handled by National Bid Manager
Strong, credible reputation in the IT sales market
Demonstrated ability to target new markets and build contact bases in specified verticals
Strong sales track record and proven success in a similar role
