About the Role Carbon60's aerospace client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced
Lead Electrical Design Engineer
to support the development of a new control bench for a large hydromechanical test installation. You will be a key part of a multi-disciplinary team responsible for delivering the full electrical design lifecycle - from initial architecture development through to validation, verification, and entry into service.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the electrical design for a complex avionic control bench.
Develop and contribute to system architecture and integration activities.
Produce detailed electrical schematics, drawings, and technical specifications.
Manage technical design risks and design milestones (FCR, FDR, PDR, CDR).
Oversee build, installation, and assembly of the control bench.
Lead the V&V phase and ensure successful entry into service.
Work closely with stakeholders to clarify requirements and meet delivery targets.
