About Us Secarma is a cybersecurity consultancy on a mission to make the world a safer place, we do this by helping businesses protect themselves from cyber threats through penetration testing, security advisory, and certification services. We work with organisations across various industries to improve their security posture and stay ahead of evolving risks.
The workplace culture at Secarma is unlike any other. We thrive on thinking differently, working differently and most importantly - enjoying what we do. Because we are big enough to have a significant impact on the industry but small enough to operate as one dynamic team, you feel like an important contributor to the future rather than a cog in a machine.
Role Overview Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy new challenges?
Are you driven, enthusiastic and motivated by results?
We operate at the leading-edge of technology in Cybersecurity and are currently recruiting our next wave of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to join a growing sales team and develop through our sales training academy.
This role is focused on lead generation and booking high-quality meetings, helping to fuel the wider sales pipeline. Successful candidates will join a progressive cybersecurity organisation that invests in developing people with the drive, ambition and aptitude to learn.
As an SDR, you’ll receive comprehensive training as part of your induction and begin by supporting the business through structured prospecting and outbound activity.
Your primary focus will be working towards agreed KPIs such as identifying prospective customers, qualifying leads, and setting up meetings for the Business Development team.
You’ll use a mix of research, creativity, persistence and great communication skills to engage the right contacts and open conversations across multiple channels.
Your role will not involve direct selling initially. Instead, it is designed to build strong commercial foundations, with clear progression opportunities into more senior sales roles.
What will my responsibilities be?
Identify and research target companies and contacts that align with our ideal customer profile
Proactively engage prospective customers to generate and qualify new business opportunities
Book meetings for the Business Development team with decision-makers and influencers
Represent the business at a programme of physical and virtual events throughout the year.
Use a range of channels including ZoomInfo, personalised LinkedIn messaging, email, follow-up calls, alongside face-to-face activity
Maintain accurate records of activity and outcomes in the CRM
Work towards agreed KPIs focused on activity levels, lead quality and meeting conversion
This is a progressive role, with structured coaching and mentoring to support development into future sales positions as the business grows. Our last wave of SDRs joined the business in September and will be progressing into more senior roles over the first half of 2026.
