Responsibilities
Handling and processing pharmaceutical and microbiological samples.
Supporting environmental monitoring and quality control activities.
Maintaining temperature monitoring systems, fridges and stock supplies.
Managing certificates of analysis and ensuring compliance with GMP standards.
Ensuring testing is completed on time and results are processed accurately for the manufacturing department, Pharmacy Aseptic Services, Nuclear Medicine and the wider Pharmacy team.
Key Skills Attention to detail and the ability to follow structured procedures are key skills for this role. Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and develop expertise in quality assurance and laboratory processes.
Requirements
Work flexible hours, including weekend, bank holiday and shift work (7‑day working schedule).
This is an internal vacancy for Royal Devon employees; bank workers are not eligible to apply.
Participation in the 7‑day working schedule, including late duties.
The Trust reserves the right to close the vacancy once a sufficient number of applications has been received.
