Responsibilities include accurately identifying and processing inventory, maintaining organized storage areas, and preparing orders for dispatch. Experience with forklifts or other warehouse machinery is beneficial, though not always required, as training may be provided. A critical aspect of this position is adherence to all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role demands physical exertion, including frequent lifting and movement of goods. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming inventory.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Stock shelves and maintain inventory organization.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Ensure all warehouse areas are kept clean, neat, and orderly.
- Comply with all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Load and unload trucks as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is an asset.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Team-oriented with good communication abilities.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
